‘With Days Like This As Cheap As Chewing Gum, Why Would Anyone Want To Work?’, ahem, is the new EP from the rather fucking excellent Liverpudlian trio Hot Club de Paris. Needless to say, their two records never really got the praise which I’d say they were deserved of. The new EP is another chapter in their Joan Of Arc/Talking Heads/etc. inspired math-pop which is no doubt going to have you harbouring a strong desire for another full-length by about two thirds way through the second track.
