Life Without Buildings - ‘Let’s Get Out’
Glasgow foursome Life Without Buildings had a shortlived career, lasting all of three years in an attempt to find some middle ground between art rock and post-punk. I’m not sure the reason why they split up, I just hope it was a good one. Anyway, 2001 LP ‘Any Other City’ is up there in terms of the most underrated of the last decade. Probably in no small part down to Sue Tompkins and her relentless incoherent ramblings.
