‘We Sing The Body Electric’ is a product of the Sydney based sleepmakeswaves’ immense musicianship and promise. Signs of which are displayed throughout their live set, demo recordings and 2008 debut ‘In Today Already Walks Tomorrow’.
The likes of Gifts From Enola, Caspian and Mono are surely nailed on to make most critics’ best post-rock of 2009 shortlists, mine included. However, one release which has seemingly swam under the radar is the split EP between the above act and fellow countrymen Tangled Thoughts Of Leaving, who employ a more electronic and industrial style. Now’s the time to place another canditate into contention.
