Dartz - ‘Once, Twice, Again!’
Further evidence supporting the fact that 2009 is the year of the split came with the announcement this month that Teeside math rock three piece Dartz are calling it a day. Fair play, some acts playing their final shows throughout the year won’t quite be missed to the same degree as others (The Metros, anyone?), but Dartz were a brilliant band.
Some good news though! Xtra Mile Recordings are honouring their split by offering both Dartz albums for five of your English pounds which is an absolute steal if ever there was one. In addition, the band will play two final shows in September at Uncle Alberts, Middlesbrough and The Peel in Kingston, head along if you can.
