Marvins Revolt - ‘Bugs In Time’
Fans of the previously featured Adebisi Shank may not need any introduction to this band. Long time touring mates Marvins Revolt, hailing from Copenhagen, are currently recording the follow up to their 2007 debut ‘Killec’, leading to hopefully yet another reason to move to Denmark.
They make joyous angular pop by means of churning out melody after melody, accompanied by fine musicianship and warming vocals. Maybe sort of what you would get if Tera Melos and a more upbeat American Football crossed paths. At any rate, this is a band setting the new mark for the math rock genre and one which you need in your life.
