Kyte - ‘Home’
Last year’s debut self titled LP from Leicestershire four piece Kyte is filled with the swelling guitar lines, soaring vocals and soothing percussion that constitute incredible ambient post-rock, all recorded within the close confinements of guitarist Tom Lowe’s bedroom.
Their sound holds similarities with dream pop giants The Radio Dept., along with acts such as Explosions In The Sky, The Album Leaf and Ef. The band’s follow up, ‘Science For The Living’, was released in Japan in April, though a release date later in the year for the UK is yet to be announced.
